Below are steps to take in creating a professional email address
1. Your email address should be pronounceable, easy to spell and remember: with so many people conducting business via email, it is quite easy to misspell an email address. You may need to call out your emails in an event or over the phone, ensure that it is something that is easy to pronounce and spell so there is not a mistake in typing. Eg if your email address is pronounced email@example.com but if spelt firstname.lastname@example.org, no matter how many times you call it out there will always be a misunderstanding.
2. Choose a recent domain in creating your email address: while I have never heard of anyone getting passed over because they had an AOL or Hotmail email address, these don’t exactly imply you are keeping up with the times. If you are using an email service, Gmail is considered more up-to-date and relevant than AOL, for example – and this choice can color how recipients view you. While there may be other great providers outside well-known ones like Outlook and Gmail, it does not do you any favors to go with a technically proficient platform that has an impossible-to-spell-or-remember name.
3. Name combination: I am almost certain that you name combination has been taken on one or two of the email domains, you are incredibly lucky if your first name and last name combination is still available. Here are some ways you can combine your names

4. Name Modifications: If your name has been taken, or if it is too long to fit the required email length, there are plenty of ways you can play with your name to make it fit.

5. Inverted Name: If your first name and last name combination isn’t available, you might consider putting your last name first. If you go this route, and especially if you have an ambiguous name, make sure you include a clear email signature so that contacts know which name to refer to you by.
